Can ChatGPT do an SEO audit?

An AI chat can review a page you paste into it. It does not see your whole site, your Search Console data or your internal links, and it cannot fix anything by itself. Hack The SEO scans the whole site continuously and applies a fix only after you approve it. You can also connect an AI assistant such as Claude to the plugin through MCP: read-only by default, with every call logged.

Can't I just connect Claude to WordPress for free?

You can, and it is a good first step: free connectors such as the official WordPress MCP Adapter give Claude access to your site. But a connector only gives access. It does not bring an SEO method, a continuous audit, a ranking of issues by impact, your approval on each action or a 30-day undo. Hack The SEO provides those, and Claude can also work with it through MCP.

Is there a free way to get a website SEO audit?

Yes, several free online checkers give a one-time snapshot of a page or a site. They list issues, but they do not fix them or follow your site over time. Hack The SEO is a paid plugin that audits continuously and fixes after your approval.

How long does an audit take?

No waiting period: the audit is already running in the background as soon as you activate the plugin. On an existing site, the first full dashboard is available within minutes, the time it takes for the initial scan to go through your pages.

Can fixes break my site?

Every fix goes through approval first: nothing applies without your explicit consent. And if an applied fix doesn't end up working for you, it stays reversible: you undo it just as simply as you approved it.

How often does the audit run?
